Our standard 130mm x 80mm anodized plate (CP) is used as a component in thermoelectric cold plate chillers. These subassemblies provide near isothermal surface conditions or can be used for direct contact cooling. The plate is dark anodized 6063 aluminum, 10mm thick with 4 mounting holes with a sensor recess, positioned at the mid-line. Very uniform surface temperatures can be achieved when integrated with a thermoelectric circuit and heat sink.
Design Details – The mechanical drawing below illustrates the key design characteristics, e.g., mounting positions, sensor hole location, etc., of this 130mm x 80mm x 10mm surface plate for use in cold plate subassemblies. Options – Various surface plate configurations and sizes can be produced to meet your specific application needs. Custom mounting patterns can be added to facilitate direct coupling of a cooled surface plate to your equipment. Alternative surface coatings or no surface coating are product options.
