Our thermoelectric-based subassemblies operate on safe, low voltage DC power.   Switching-type AC-DC power supplies are generally a good choice and are recommended for these applications.  These supplies are compact, reliable, low cost, provide clean and uniform power with minimal power ripple.  We offer several UL and CE approved power supplies in capacities suitable for our standard assemblies.  To increase the reliability of the supply and ensure that you have sufficient power delivery, we generally recommend selecting a supply with sufficient power margin e.g., +25% (min.).  (Often times thermoelectric assemblies will draw more current at start up.)
